Some highlights:
We threw a house show with Porches. They freaked it inside this historic mansion in Bed Stuy. Aaron called it “a proper mess.”
Jack went on tour with Lucy. He’s mr. manager, and Lucy was opening for King Krule.
We booked two Halloween shows. A Baby’s flagship bill with a psycho lineup—peep the comments section. And then another mansion ripper … this time, with Pretty Sick.
We played our first-ever DJ set at the sold out Julian Casablancas show. *pictured above*
My new band ft. members of Sitcom & Porches & Pageant), played three release shows & dropped our first single.
I toured the West Coast playing guitar in Birthday Girl. We played 8 shows, driving from San Diego to Vancouver.
My band opened for They Are Gutting a Body of Water at the Julia’s War annual Christmas party @ Baby’s. I almost cried.
AND we announced the lineup for our NYE party at Baby’s. More on that shortly …
I’ve had a harder time finishing blog posts lately. I started a couple that I never shared.
It’s intimidating to have more people reading. Cool, but intimidating. And it’s harder to tell myself that I’m just journaling & fuckin around.
